I need more anime like Cyperbank (and if it's not too much maybe with some happy endings). After years of watching anime I realize that my favorite genre in anime is drama. And not just teen drama like highschool or simple love drama. I mean the kind of drama that involves losing loved ones, life and death situations and most importantly the realism and unknown of the series. While I did say that I want happy endings that doesn't mean it has to be predictable. If cyberpunk had a happy ending I would've cried in joy, but the original ending still gave me genuine emotions that made me look back at David's entire journey. The animation also played an important role in this (Come on Trigger you can do it). So I really hope to see more anime original series like this.
He really was her pillar of strength…all he needed to do was say he trusts her and she came back all confident, even Dorio was like “WTF?!” since she was shaking in fear a couple minutes before. Wish we could’ve gotten more of the relationship of these two.
I love the fact that for the first few frames of this clip & episode, it shows Lucy just lying down from some good 'ol destressin' copulation, squatting as if she's just been woken up & tired while smoking, & then facepalming next to her soulmate as she takes in the news of what's happened to Kiwi.
Really shows that after all the implants & conditioning she's been thru, she is wholeheartedly & entire still human
this was literally the most sweaty show I have ever seen, I had to take a shower immediately after watching the series (over 2 days). Words cannot express how nervous I was throughout the show, fucking awesome
there were many times where I was so nervous that when I stopped and actually thought about the visuals I was like "Wow, this looks amazing! I'm too stressed to enjoy it right now though!" Only other time that happened was end of evangelion, though with very, very different feelings attached
English dub is a million times better, than Japanese dub. I tend to watch anime in Japanese, but I just couldn't with this one. The English voice cast absolutely nailed it.
some people are misunderstanding this scene… thinking that she just wants him to believe she can do it and that she's green and inexperienced…
she's doing it because she knows it needs to be done, but she needs David to help push her over her deep seated trauma of going in deep again and not just normal netrunner stuff but doing the deep level running that she had to do as a child in Arasaka… hence why she freaks out when she states he's Arasaka.

26.12.2022At 1:00, most anime characters would all be stuttering and blushing excessively when they see that.
