In today’s video I break down all of David’s Cyberware implant surgeries including his spinal implant the Sandevistan, Cyberware Lungs, Maine’s cyberware arms and finally the Cyberskeleton.
I explain whether such surgery is possible from a doctors perspective.
I will also be explaining how immuno-modulators work in the Cyberpunk Universe and what Cyberpsychosis is.

27.03.2024Cyberpsychosis occurs from installing too much chrome. The people start to disassociate with people and identify more with machines slowly drawing away from humanity until eventually they break entirely.

26.03.2024I think there is a physikal limit for the body, to move fastr than about 140kmh, may be 147kmh, but there is no possibillietie to move a muscle faster. Well, we had to change every muscle of your body with something synthetic, so may be you could go faster than this with about 200 operations.. Holy shit.. 26.03.2024so… ive been thinking some things for like 3 years (after i saw how brain works at highschool) is it possible for me to just make a robot and put my brain in it so i have a mechanical body? (also since we wont feel things emotionally or physically, can we create fake feelings and empathy? without feelings and instincts, would people be all the same?) also is it possible to make a copy of myself like johnny silverhands copied personality? i read that something like this is a real thing. i always wonder these kind of things and also i wonder if we can also make our brain sutiable to a machine and still keep our consciousness or something like this. or is it possilbe for us to live among the zeros and ones if ykwim 😀

11.03.2024If memory serves right, the cyber psychosis in the table top is the result of the human having replaced too much of their body with machines which results in psych disassociating as their body stops feeling like their body resulting in them being unable to ascertain what is real and what is not.

11.03.2024If I could replace my heart with a cybernetic one that works better I'd 100% do that no matter the cost. My family has a long history of heart complications and so far we've had 4 deaths because of it. 2 in their 30s, 1 in their 40s and 1 in their 60s, I'm suspected of having problems too as I just turned 18 and start noticing stabbing pains so testing with EKG hope everything's fine, I don't want to die early.

Then at the end when it's just him and David, for as dark the situation was and what lead up to it, Adam Smasher was surprisingly wholesome given the context. He took joy in the fight for the challenge and was pleasantly amused by David's humanity.

11.03.2024id probably go for the "dense marrow" implant, mostly as the implant for it is mostly just the reinforcement of the already existing bone, meaning relitivly minimal cybernetics, while also aiding the body in its natural regenerative properties, with it being able to make cells easier

i think the only dude that would hope to do something agaisnt him would be other heavy hitter mercs or if the game lore hold true V because adam smasher is just one of the most legendary and experienced mercs of night city a kid like david and his crew had no hope whatsoever against him… if only rebecca didnt stop to shoot him and ran with lucy maybe she would be alive.

10.03.2024Its worth noting that in the cyberpunk universe immune modulators are actually not suppressing your immune system but rather controlling it and giving it new instructions to ignore the specific implant, there are also immune blockers though which do what you described and they are seen as a more drastic measure taken when there is just too much to tell your immune system to ignore it all

10.03.2024Regarding the surgery scenes, I would bet they give you like area painkillers, like with tattoos on your back, just in case if they somehow made a whoopsie moment they can always fix it on the spot instead of having to wake up a now vegetable customer, because a "patient" is kinda not fitting, I mean even now neurology surgeons do need to know if they haven't damaged the nerve, I dunno if it's true for every surgery but most I'd imagine are done only with strong painkillers instead of anesthetics induced controlled coma, because again you don't wanna make a whoopsie when operating on someone's brain or spine, also in cyberpunk they don't have cybernetic brains, they just chrome brains up, somewhat like upgrading your PC, except you can't swap your MB out, that's why soulkiller in game is a revolutionary technique of preserving one's consciousness or at least a copy of one, because before people didn't quiet understand how that squishy organ in your head works, but in 2023 (I think that was the year) they've figured out "hey remember that funny flash we saw on the machine hooked up to a living brain of that hobo we gave 5 eddies to experiment on? Guess what, that's his consciousness….no I will not answer how I've found out, just know we got our 5 eddies back…" but for some reason they have artificial immune system biochip, I imagine it helps with getting rid of your bio immune system and replacing it with one that won't attack what it knows about and instead work another way around (what I would give for such a piece of tech, ngl Hashimoto disease is really a bummer for me) so yeah in 2077 they've worked a way around the neurons overstimulation by making a sort of proxy server on your brain, I think it's called brainnet in game, something like that, it basically just is on your brain, collects your output and gives you the input from your either new or old neurons although in a way so that if the input is too high it'll just lower it down so your brain could process the info and not cause you to have a brain aneurysm, if you really explore cyberpunk world it's really fleshed out, maybe except for the fact of what exactly happened in 2023 on the first twin Arasaka towers…well more like conjoined twins but you get the jist
