Unlikely and might not happen at all because its trigger and another reason. All characters arc are completed and done so theres no point of making a s2 about these characters unless you want to see somebody else which 90% ppl here simps for Lucy. Second is we are talking about trigger here. They are not some stupidly big studio that has infinite budget for loads of seasons and notoriously known to only make a single season for every anime they made. If they get the same ppl who made edgerunners with another different studio with higher budget then s2 might be possible.
