11.10.2022You are either not mature enough to appreciate the complexity of the show, or you are fully aware that you are bullshitting and that's just a clever bait, since you already have hundreds of % more views than average on your latest videos and that's just a pathetic attempt to create some traction on your channel.

10.10.2022It could have used a few more episodes to flesh out the story yes. But it was still way over avarage.

10.10.2022Pacing actually makes sense considering night city being a crazy place, just look at how Pilar died.
Pilar died to a psycho pissing into a bin from on top of a container.
And in the last episode everyone died except Falco and Lucy. They dropped like flies.
Because that's night city and that's what being an edgerunner is about. Live hard die young.

10.10.2022so many dislikes? was it just because of the title? its not like the review was bashing the show the whole time

10.10.2022Was waiting for these click bait videos to come out. Remember kids if anything is wildly popular you’ll have people shot on it for attention. And if something isn’t well revived you’ll get a video on how it’s secretly amazing. Thank you for contributing to this law of the internet.

08.10.202212:23 the show is rushing cuz the characters are rushing. Please retitle your video or put a comment in the description. It was intentional

08.10.2022I'm surprised they didn't fight aliens at the end. But one of them still went to space.

08.10.2022An interesting idea for the series is if they used every season to address the 3 main character types in Cyberpunk 2077. When you play the game, you can choose to be a Street Kid, a Nomad, or a Corpo; if the anime chose to use that system for this and hopefully the next season, that’d be pretty interesting. Like how David is the story of a Street Kid, next season we get a story about a Nomad and how they survived in or around Night City. Or a Corpo heir that’s trying to help the city somehow.
I feel as though something like this could justify the pacing, because the story is fast, but if you’re trying to show different lives/legends, I could better understand.

08.10.2022I'd say it'd be a 10/10 if it had like 20 episodes, buy even now its like a minimum 8/10

08.10.2022"Average" lmao

08.10.2022(SPOILERS) The show felt rushed and that’s the thing that killed it for me. I feel like they allude to a bunch and delve into virtually none of it. Moreover I could forgive the mid season decision to kill off the whole team if we got more from them then just super basic character traits and more time to see David actually become a leader.

08.10.2022I don't think think it's average I honestly really like it and I'm glad there's a big community that agrees with me while I also don't agree with all you points I can absolutely see where your coming from and I even agree with some of your points but i feel like people don't understand that YOU can feel how you feel about a certain thing and still be a viable source of criticism and feelings toward a certain thing in this case cyberpunk edgerunners (just my 2 cents)

06.10.2022As a one piece fanatic I strongly agree with having a good foundation is key, however this anime has the perk of already having a great foundation because it was based on a game that I’ve never played or watched and the story was amazing, this story ain’t no house with a leak it’s a small mansion at best. the “fatal flaw” you point out despite saying everything else was amazing was the pacing and in only 10 episodes they get you emotionally attached to most of the cast, and the time skip was well needed, we saw a young boy struggle and come up but when the time skip happens it’s not them rushing to the ending it’s that It’s to skip his come up as a legend without skipping any story at all it’s amazing imo. The show is 8/10+ I couldn’t imagine it getting a lower rating but that’s just me

06.10.2022I have read your pinned comment and I have something to say. First you have to define what is avarage. So for me its taking every anime on a scale form 0 to 100 and sum up their ratings then divide it by the number of animes and you get an avarage rating and if we do that edgerunners is above avarage. HOWEVER if you only sum up the ratings of animes you have seen you probably get a higher number for avarage because people dont whatch shitty shows. And now i can belive that it was around avarage for you because your avarage is probably higher or you just didnt give cyberpunk a good enough rating to hit YOUR avarage number.

02.10.2022I honestly don't understand how this anime has gotten this much praise. The visuals, the music and the voice acting are good, but there's no skeleton to hold it up. The story and the characters are shallow and vapid. David, in particular, learns nothing and is fighting for nothing. No direction or motivation of his own, as the show itself points out many times over.

02.10.2022I absolutely think edgerunners was amazing. But, really what has this world come to where the person in the video actually think it is just average compared to everyone else and now he is what just an ignorant person or doesn't know anything. There is so many self entitled children on the internet. O no this person disagrees with me he must be put in in place. It is ok do tell this author why you disagree with his opinion but what makes you so much better to belittle him.

02.10.2022They were paid to do 10 episodes and they did it pretty good. Title is misleading, unless you had high expectation for 10 episodes, then I can see that you would be disappointed. The theme of the Night City is to live fast, and unironically so was the anime. Doesn't matter how much potential it had, there are no happy endings and it is suppose to be a dystopia. Night City is a cautionary tale.

02.10.2022It’s interesting that you thought that way about the pacing. Although I would agree that i would LOVE more episodes, I’m personally very contempt with the pacing because it fit the fast paced, exhilarating, difficult to comprehend, process and unpredictable setting of night city and the characters within it. They don’t care about their backstories, (as maine had once said) and are almost apathetic to death because they see it happens too quickly and too often for anyone to have time to process it. There was *some* foreshadowing you could catch in regards to what happens to characters like maine, like when he told david that if he were to flatline, he could have his robotic hand; so i knew at one point he was going to die. I think around the middle of the series, many people had a feeling that most characters were going to die fast and it was going to happen without any time to process any of it, and i think that was intentional because of how the edgerunners and other people in night city moved. People come and go faster than you’ll ever get the chance to understand them or their story, so personally I feel like having more time to flesh out the characters and their relationships would have defeated the purpose of understanding the kind of life the edgerunners lived that they were trying to portray. I personally really really loved the pacing because it just made sense this kind of story. Everything that was said or done mattered and wasn’t just there for the sake of having it there. Every scene—no matter how odd or out of nowhere they might seem at first glance—had a purpose to it. Atleast that’s just my two cents of it, haha.

30.09.2022Fuck this click bait title. I don't care what your opinions on it if you're gonna premise it this way.
If you look at anyone else you're gonna see that 99% of the people who watch it don't find it disappointing OR average.
You don't deserve a single second of watching time, even if you find it HORSESHIT and is just expressing your point of view, doing it this way goes beyond that.
If you GENUINELY don't care about views, you're still unable to feel empathy for those who loved it.
You say otherwise in the video? IT DOES NOT MATTER. You're still polluting the timeline with a title thats objectively false, bringing people down who happen to see this among the rest.
Don't think you're "above" other people because you can "discuss" about things you like. My absolute favorite franchise is Zelda and I can tear it apart where it faults, but you CANNOT look at the entire thing and say it sucks, because it is just not true.
You are hate baiting people with this title, and even if you have reasonable views on it, you don't deserve to be watched.

30.09.2022And that’s why your at 66k subs, you don’t have the same taste as everyone. Or you don’t understand the whole plot to the lore of the game slash D&D version it’s based off of which is Cyberpunk Code Red. If you knew where it originated from you’d know they did damn fine recreating it via video game and anime
Gunnerblaster
30.09.2022Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the series, as a whole, but I was a bit disappointed by the time skip, in which we missed about several years' of the crew's life. Spoilers: The jump from Maine succumbing to Cyberpsychosis – To David literally repeating the same exact process (albeit a few years later), was a bit jarring.

30.09.2022“Cyberpunk Edgerunner is disappointingly average”
Yet it’s 100% rating on rotten tomatoes, 9/10 on IGN, and 4/5 on common sense media with total of 4.9 audience review summary.
Saying the show is disappointedly average is kinda offending to the fans
