01.11.2022Ok so there was so much packed into this episode(this gonna be a biiit of a long comment).
First off the reason the pissing dude could tank so much was he was suffering from cyberpsychosis, which is what happens when a heavily chromed person has a severe mental break. Having a lot of chrome in and of itself doesn’t directly cause this but the mental strain of running so much chrome increases the likelihood of someone going cyberpsycho.
This is also the episode where people really start loving Rebecca between the scene of her casually chatting with David while in her underwear and chewing gum all while holding a piece to David’s head and her berserker rage when Pillar got zeroed. It really shows off the two extremes to her personality well.
So…the Lucy tiddy, that was all thanks to the fact that Lucy is literally hot. Netrunner chrome has a ridiculously high heat output when in full use, and Netrunners usually have two ways to navigate around this; they either wear a special Netrunner cooling suit, or like Lucy here, they sit in a tub of water, kind of like the cooling tank in a nuclear power plant.

That point they don’t think/act human anymore but more on a living machine programmed to destroy/kill things. ANYONE is subjected to this even if small hence they have to take these immune meds that will prevent or stave off the cyber psychosis.
In beginning of the show that’s what happened with the dude killing the cops. If gets so bad that the cops and trauma team (imagine medical swat) can’t handle it they call in MaxTac (imagine super swat) squad to come in and take down the cyberpsycho with the weapons and tech to fight it.

It IS a neighborhood of Night City, but it’s also probably full of Dominicans. There’s another neighborhood, Pacifica, with a big Haitian gang.
In the story of the game, between 2022-2077, most of the governments in the Caribbean and Central America collapsed and a global plague effected crops. People had to move for food/safety. Most of the populations of Haiti, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic fled to the USA.
Then the USA went through a second civil war and Florida became a warzone. Haitians and Dominicans fled west. Resulting in big populations in Night City.
Night City is in California, but David has just as much chance of being Dominican as Mexican.

the crazy thing is that my parent died because of shitty doctors not knowing what to do. My low income gave me a shitty health care experience.
I’m sure if I had more money, there would be more doctors that would care.
I’m currently going through hardship and trials. I have to become the man of my crib and step up to new levels. I know to keep my head up and not let things rot me.
