18.05.2023I really hope Eric gets a chance to play Cyberpunk 2077 at one point, as someone who is so invested into world-building and lore he would get a really good kick out of all the various emails and shards that you can read in the game, besides that the story itself is incredibly well written and nuanced and I think he would have a great time.

16.05.2023I appreciate Rick trying to convey the Cyberpunk world to the others but he's lacking a bit of the depth behind it. Like when he's trying to explain Night City for example, A) it's what becomes of Los Angeles & B) you do actually get into some of the "farmland" aka the Biotechnica area to the south. There's so much in Edgerunners' depiction of Night City that are 1:1 with the game locations in 2077.
Not sure why they think the gangbangers were targeting David's mom there, the Martinezes were clearly collateral damage in some other altercation. As far as David's Sandevistan goes, I wonder how it would compare to the Qian T mk4… that's definitely up there as one of my favorite builds so far. In a nutshell, pop 3 legendary cooldown mods on that thing and it's almost unlimited bullet time.

Several states left the Union, Texas became its own country, and California was split in half between north and South, with Night City in between as a border city-state between the two.
